Alexis N. Armer age 35 of Lima, passed Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her residence. She was born January 14, 1984 in Lima, Ohio to Steven M. (Marcy) Armer and Kimberly R. (Jason Lies) Cox. Her father survives in St. Petersburg, Florida and her mother survives in Lima.
Alexis had worked as a waitress and enjoyed talking with people. Her passion was helping others.
She was very involved in Guiding Light ministries in Lima; giving talks to area schools, colleges, and other groups about the dangers facing us every day and how to be strong.
Also surviving is a brother – Tom (Crystal) Cox of Lima; maternal grandfather – Raymond Powley of Nebraska; aunts – Denise (Chris) Burden, Robin Niles, Amy Miller, Amy Powley, Jill Flores, an uncle – Brad Powley; a cousin – Angel; nieces – Ava, Audrey, Kierra, Kinsleigh; nephews – Gavin, Brayden, Dustin, Shawn, Jeremy, Tyler, Jeremy, Rayn, Ryan, and Joshua.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents – Don Armer and Sandra Kinkle; maternal grandmother – Pat Powley, great grandmother – Irma Powley.
A celebration of life will begin 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Living Faith Temple, 590 South Main Street, Lima.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
Contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray cost.
