Alice Louise Ludwig, age 91, of Lima, died at 8:30 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2014 at Shawnee Manor. She was born August 27, 1922 in Harrod, Ohio to the late Clarence Alton and Vivian (Jacobs) McGinnis.
Mrs. Ludwig was a secretary and homemaker. She was a member of West Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Alice loved to sew, knit and read. She graduated from Lafayette-Jackson High School in 1940.
Survivors include a son Richard Ludwig of Montague, NJ, 2 daughters Judy Arnold of Greenville, IN and Lavonne Miller of Berlin, PA, 1 brother Paul R. McGinnis of Lima, Ohio, 4 Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 7 Step Great Grandchildren, 3 Nephews and 1 Niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Clinton Ludwig in 1989 and a brother Alton McGinnis.
Memorial Services will begin 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2014 at West Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Elder Michael Skinner will officiate. The cremated remains will be buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada, Ohio.
