Alma Lee Flarida, age 99 of Cridersville, died 11:15 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Cridersville Health Care Center. She was born April 23, 1913 in Delphos, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Ora and Molly Underwood Barrett. On September 21, 1927 she married Paul William Flarida, who died August 1991.
She retired from Woolen Mills and Madison Ladies Clothing Store and Coke Cola. She was a member of the First church of God at the Cross Roads. She enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling with her family and all the grandchildren.
She is survived by 2 sons – Robert Eugene Flarida of Lima; William David (Betty) Flarida of Wapakoneta; a daughter – Elizabeth Ann Hook of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren; a sister – Helen Eberhart of Lima.
She was preceded in death by a grandson- Clint Floraida; a great granddaughter – Kaylee Putnam; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2012 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Rev. Randy Bargerstock
will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
at the funeral home and one hour prior to services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God at the Cross Roads.
