Anita Jean Fritz Blue, 84, of Urbana, and formerly of Wapak, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 14, 2009. She passed away at the Wellington Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following several years of failing health. She was born June 16, 1925 in Logan County, Ohio to Homer French and Doris Ethlyn (Miller) Tennant. She was valedictorian of her 1943 class at Botkins High School. She worked as a photographer from her youth into the 1960s tinting portraits and retouching negatives. He dreams of going to college weren’t realized due to WWII. She married Don Paul Fritz, who preceded her in death and had 2 loving children Kim David Fritz and Lisa Carol Cortes, both surviving. Her second marriage was to George A. Blue, surviving in Urbana. She is also survived by a sister JoAnn Wagner and grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., graveside service at Buckland Cemetery, Buckland, Ohio, Rev. Don Rock officiating. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday Dec. 21, 2009 at the Wellington Nursing and Rehab Center, Urbana. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be given to the Alzheimers Association in memory of her name.
