Anna Rose Waggoner age 91, of rural Wapak passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017. She was born March 29, 1925 in Lima to the late George and Ann Ihle Hahn. She married Jay Lewis Waggoner June 4, 1947 and he preceded her in death.
Anna had been a beautician and enjoyed sharing laughter with her family. She recently said, “I’ve had a good life. God has been good to me.”
Anna is survived by 4 children: Don Waggoner of Marietta, GA, Ann (Dan) Ruhe of Lima, Barbara (Robert) Sampson of Edmonds, WA and Kay (Mark) Calvelage of Wapakoneta; a sister Geneva Jerwers of Palm Harbor, FL; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Private family burial will take place.
