Art Kohli, age 72 of Wapakoneta, died at 10:56 p.m., May 12, 2016 at Wapak Manor with family by his side. He was born September 11, 1943 in Lima, Ohio; to the late Burl and Mary Scott Kohli.
Art was an estimator and owner of Tri State Flooring and Ceiling. His hobbies included fishing, golfing, motorcycling,traveling and having a fun time with friends. He loved his animals and playing cards with good friends Knox and Joanne Maney. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge #370, the Moose Lodge #199, and a life member of the Elks Lodge #54 all of L ima.
Survivors include the love of his life and best friend – Marti Smiley of Wapakoneta; a brother – David (Shirley) Kohli of Lima; 2 special nieces – Carole (Todd) Jones of Elida; Carmen Boese of Lima; a nephew – Keith Kohli of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister and her husband – Susan (David) Llewellyn and a nephew – David LR Henige, Jr.
A celebration of Art’s life will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita’s Hospice, or the Humane Society of donor’s choice.
