Arthur L Pescosolido

Arthur L. Pescosolido, age 88 of Lima, died at 8:43 p.m., Monday, December 25, 2 017 at home. He was born April 5, 1929 in Blue Spring, WV; to the late Domenico and Nellie Bly Salisbury Pescosolido. On March 2, 1953 he married Carol Ann Foy, who survives.

Mr. Pescosolido retired as a civil engineer with Standard Oil Company. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, hunting, skiing, and golfing. While his children were young, they would go camping and he continued camping with his wife after the children were grown. He belonged to the Good Sam Camping Club and the GMC Motor Group. He also participated in the Toast Masters Club and Junior Achievement.

Also surviving are 5 children – Terry A. (Karen A. Lucas) Pescosolido of Columbus, Ohio; Susan Rae (Gary L.) Richardson of Lima; Marc L. (Penny Sue) Pescosolido of Lima; Lisa A. (Collin D. Blackston) Pescosolido of Lima; Randy L. (Becky L.) Pescosolido of Lima; 16 grandchildren – Terry, Carrie, Christy, Laura, Christopher, Nicole, Tasha, Jason, Katrina, Daniel, Aaron, Kara, Kyle, Jesse, Alisa, and Sara; 25 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a great grandchild; a sister – Pauline Vigilanti, and a brother – Eugene Pescosolido.

Funeral services will begin 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
