Obituary

Beatrice Caroline Cummings, age 95, of Cridersville, formerly of Waynesfield, Wapakoneta and Winter Haven, FL died 12:45 p. m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Otterbein-Cridersville. She was born May 16, 1917 to John Thomas and Bertha Caroline Jones Cummings in Lima, Ohio. She married Gordon Wilford Cummings Jan. 15, 1939 and he preceded her in death Feb. 9, 2003.

Bea retired as a shipping and receiving clerk for Fisher Cheese Company in 1977. She was a member of Cridersville United Methodist Church and had volunteered at Lima Memorial and Otterbein- Cridersville. She enjoyed crafts, fishing, gardening and opening her home to foster children.

Survivors include a daughter Roseann Couchenour of Cleveland, OH, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers: Glenn Dietz and Thomas Dietz, and sisters Maxine Neely and Cora Mae Hillyard.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p. m. Friday Oct. 12 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home Cridersville. Private burial will be held at a later date in Willow Branch Cemetery.

Friends may call 3 hours prior to services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the children’s home and hospital of your choice.
