Beryl F. Benedict, age 73 of Cridersville, passed at 12:17 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023 at St. Rita’s Mercy Health. He was born March 31, 1949 in Lima, Ohio to the late John J. and Vera Wren Benedict. On May 18, 1984 he married Charis K. Hopkins, who survives.
Beryl retired from Accubuilt. He loved playing golf, spending time with his grandchildren, and was an Ohio State Buckeye fan. He had a love for animals, liked helping at Angels for Animals and enjoyed walking his dog, Molly.
In addition to his wife who survives him, he is survived by a daughter – Kristen Underwood of Bellefontaine; 3 grandchildren – Mykah, Laylah, and Aliviah; a special nephew and niece – Brad and Brenda Benedict of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a brother – Ronald Benedict.
No services are planned at this time.
