Betty Jean Thomas, 79, passed away on October 25, 2022, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home. Betty was born on June 29, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan to Leonard and Cetonia Moore who preceded her in death. Betty’s husband of 53 years, Robert passed away in September of this year. They had one son Nathan. Betty had 2 brothers Leonard Jr. and Johnny Moore, and 2 sisters Barbara Ann (Virgil) Coleman and Joyce Ross. Betty graduated from Easton High School in Detroit and worked for many years in health care and adult group home supervision.

Betty will be remembered as a very loving and caring person. She touched the lives of everyone she met. Betty was a very spiritual woman who put her faith in her God Jehovah and God’s son Jesus Christ. She truly believed in the resurrection hope and being reunited with her beloved husband Robert.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5th, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 703 West Bluelick Road, Lima. Brother Steve Horn will deliver the funeral talk.

Arrangements are by Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
