Obituary

Betty Lou Craig, age 74 of Wapakoneta, died at 10:47 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Lima Memorial Health Care Systems. She was born September 11, 1940 in Wapakoneta; the daughter of the late Orville B. and Dorothy Elizabeth Ramey Mault. On October 25, 1961 she married Dale Eugene Craig, Jr. who died December 7, 2002.

Mrs. Craig was a homemaker, a Walmart associate and a member of Rousculp Church of Christ. She was an avid race fan, especially a fan of her son Barney, and watching grandchildren in sports.

Survivors include 3 sons – Dale E. (Kimberley) Craig, III of Union Mills, IN; Byron S. ‘Barney'(Shelli) Craig of Lima; Dean E. (LaDonna) Craig of Lima; a daughter – Kelly D. (Jeff) Babcock of Wayne, OH; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters – Barbara (Byron) Ulrick of Ft.Wayne, IN; and Marilyn Carder of Lima.

She was preceded in death by a brother – Tom Mault and a sister – Helen Wade.

Funeral services will begin 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Tim Benjamin will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
