Billy Ray Gibson

Billy Ray Gibson age 68, of Lima passed away Monday. Feb. 21, 2022 at his residence. He was born Aug. 7, 1953 in Salyersville, KY to the late Green and Betty (Harmon) Gibson. He married Billie Jean Brenneman and she preceded him in death May 30, 2019.
Billy retired from Omni Source as a crane operator. He loved being with his grandkids and enjoyed collecting things and sitting on the front porch.
Survivors include children: William (Kelly) Gibson of Lima, Gregory (Christine) Gibson of Warren, OH, Kathy Jones of Lima, Betty (Jason) Briggs of South Shore, KY, Bethany Gibson of Lima and Lana Gibson of Lima; 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and one on the way, siblings: Teddy (Brenda) Gibson of Lima, Wilma Gibson of Milwaukee, WI, Patricia (Dale) Howerton of Hinesville, GA, Larcenie (Fred) Mines of San Antonio, TX, Artillis Gibson of Lima, Green (Levon) Gibson, Jr. of Lucasville, Sherman (Lakisha) Gibson of Lima, Chris Gibson of Lima, Undra Gibson of Lima, Patricia Gibson of Lima and Pamela Gibson of Lima and a sister-in-law Carol Tippie of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Dana Gibson and brothers Shawn Gibson and David Perkins.
