Blaz Coleman age 83, of Cridersville passed away 1:03 a.m., Thursday at Lima Memorial. He was born Feb. 20, 1935 in Webb County, Texas to the late Tomas R. and Paula Cazares Coleman. He married Yvonne M. Parys June 29, 1957 and she survives in Cridersville.
Blaz had worked for Montgomery Ward until their closing and then did truck sales for Redwing Shoe Store. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta and the American Legion in Lima. He had served in the U. S. Army.
Additional survivors include sons: Jeffery (Penny) Coleman and Steven (Molly) Coleman both of Lima, a daughter Linda Zuber of Dayton, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister Pauline (Tom) Barchlett of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by a grandson Derrick Zuber and siblings Lewis (Margaret) Coleman, Tomas (Anna) Coleman and Josephine (Agapito) Gonzales.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 20 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville with Father Sean Wilson officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be in Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Parish.

Yvonne: You have my sympathy for the passing of your husband, Blaz. I know you will miss him, knowing you two went together when in high school. It's not easy losing a loved one like you did, but you just have to know that God has you back all the time. When in trouble or feeling low, just mention His name...Jesus.
