Calvin Manifred Bazemore, aged 80 of Cridersville, Ohio and formerly of Savannah, GA, passed away after a long illness Wed. Sept. 6th 2:07 p.m. He was born Oct. 14, 1936 in Savannah, GA to the late Carl Lee and Hazel Jane (Usher) Bazemore. He was preceded in death by his son, Russell William Bazemore. He was married fifty-nine years to Frances Elizabeth “Betty” (Brown) who survives in Cridersville. Calvin retired from Great Dane Trailers after thirty years of service. He loved fishing and was a Baptist.
Additional survivors include a daughter Cheryl (Eric) McDunnell, Sr. of Cridersville; four grandchildren: James (Mary Jane) Bazemore, Aaron Bazemore, both of Pooler, GA, Catherine Elizabeth (McDunnell) “Catie” Faust, Eric Harold McDunnell, Jr. both of Cridersville; four sisters: Gwendolyn Martin of Marietta, GA, Phyllis Bragg, Joanna Adams, both of Statesboro, GA, Julia Banker of Pooler, GA.; many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to your local church.
