Carl A. Steiger, age 90 of Lima, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Wyngate Assisted Living, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 29, 1926 in Lima, Ohio to the late Albert and Gladys (Beamer) Steiger.

He is survived by 3 children – Steve Steiger of SC; Cindy Ochs of Lima; Barb Lehner of Dayton; 5 grandchildren – Kevin Ochs, Clay Meister, Kayla Meister, Callie Lehner, and Cole Lehner.

Carl retired from Up John as the top pharmaceutical salesman, winning many awards, and saving many lives. He was an excellent classical guitarist and had many students over the years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in World War II and attended Lima Community Church. He had a great love for his family.

The family will be receiving friends and loved ones from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017 with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Lima Community Church, 2945 North Cole Street, Lima. Jonathan Burkey will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family for expenses.
