Carl Mox

Carl F. Mox age 84, of Delphos passed away 10:50 p.m., Friday, May 29th, 2020 at Sarah Jane Living Center.  He was born March 24, 1936 in Van Wert County to the late Carl H. and Elma Z. Spring Mox.  He married the love of his life Veda M. White Jan. 11, 1973 surviving in Delphos. Carl had worked for Tom Ahl’s Bodyshop, for 40 years, retiring in 2009. His hobbies included building clocks, muzzle loaders and knives and repairing watches. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and an active member of the NRA. Carl was a former Delphos City councilman and sold real estate. Additional survivors include children:  Kim (Ben) Osting, Laura (Mark) Hayford, Kenneth “Brian” Deitering, Clint “Hank” Mox all of Delphos, Kerri (Robert) Roth of Cloverdale, Steve (Jane) Mox of Ft. Jennings and Cathy (Troy) Zeller of Cecil;  grandchildren:  Zander Roth, Kane Osting, Cole (Allison) Osting, Alexa Kruse, Braytan (Kayla) Kruse, Jessica Mox and Cody Mox; several great grandchildren and a sister Ethel (John

deceased) Ponting of Delphos. He was preceded in death by a brother Herman Mox and his beloved dogs

Lydia and Kelly. A family gathering will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be given in Carl’s name to the National Alzheimer’s Association, The Black Swamp Rifle & Pistol Club of Delphos or the National Rifle Association.
