Carol Sue Mulcahy age 73, of Lima passed away Friday, May 14 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born March 12, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Clifford P. and Lois Fanny (Parsons) Barrows. She had a special friend Tom Vojtush of Lima.
Sue had graduated from Lima Senior and retired from the Allen County Sheriff’s Department where she had been a dispatcher. She was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and Notre Dame. She loved going to thrift stores and doing crafts, especially crocheting. She adored her grandchildren and great grandson.
Additional survivors include children: Angie Mulcahy and Spanky (Kerri Essex) Mulcahy both of Lima; 7 grandchildren: Cody (Ariel), Ethan, Alexa, Robby, Matthew, Brady and Mallary, a great grandson: Keaton; siblings: Mike (Marilyn) Barrows of Bellefontaine, Jerry (Brenda) Barrows of Alabama, Kathy (Dick) Hefner of Lima, Gerri Smith of Lima and Pat (Neil) Monroe of Ft. Wayne.
She was preceded in death by a sister Jan Barrows.
The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral service will follow at 7 with Rev. Mark Hollinger officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home.
