Carolyn “Kaye” Sue Groff

Carolyn retired from security with Husky Refinery. She loved working with crafts and in her flower garden.

She is survived by a daughter – Carole Mathewson of Lima; 2 sons – Charles Franks of Lima; Steven (Leesa) Franks of Buckland; 9 Grandchildren – Justin Mathewson; Brianne Hefner; Charles (Hannah) Franks; Kenneth (Jesse) Franks; Courtney Franks; Kirstin Franks; Tiffany (Michal Batko) Franks; Trista (Gary) Adams; Evany (Nick) Fuerst; 14 great grandchildren – Wyatt Hefner; Maliya Hefner; Micah Franks; Rae Anne Franks; Kynleighn Franks; Roper Franks; Courtlynn Franks; Nevaeh Franks, Bayleigh Franks; Brooklynn Franks; Gabriel Fuerst, Chayton Fuerst, and Emerick Fuerst and her faithful four legged sweetie – Gracie.

She was preceded in death by 2 a brother – Richard Burris and a sister – Janice Claphan.

Following Carolyn’s wishes, there will be no public services.

Prayers and hugs to the kids and grandkids. I worked with Kay for many years at Findlay Industries and we also played together. For several years we rode together to work. Many of those rides were full of giggles and more giggles, Kay always made me laugh! We had been placed on 2nd shift on a difficult job, the only thing that got us through was the ride back and forth, we bolstered each other every day. One thing that always stood out about Kay was the love she had for her children.
