Charles E. Rhodes, age 85, of Cridersville passed away Dec. 6, 2021 at Otterbein-Cridersville. He was born Feb. 4, 1936 in Lima to the late Walter Joseph and Clarabelle (Young) Rhodes. Charles E. Rhodes, age 85, of Cridersville passed away Dec. 6, 2021 at Otterbein-Cridersville. He was born Feb. 4, 1936 in Lima to the late Walter Joseph and Clarabelle (Young) Rhodes. He married Dolores Ann Rice June 13, 1963 and she preceded him in death May 8, 2005.
Charles had been an electrician for Ford Motor Company, Lima. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and Eagles Lodge Aerie 370 of Lima. He enjoyed fishing, golf, bowling and had served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include sisters: Becky (Larry) Jones of Wapak and Katheryn Hedrick of Cridersville and a sister-in-law May Rhodes.
He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Andrew Rhodes and a brother-in-law Larry Jones.
At his request there will be no public services.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Matthew Lutheran Church or Otterbein-Cridersville.
