Charles E. “Chuck” Winget, Jr. age 85, of Cincinnati and formerly of Lima,
passed away 6:12 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2022 at his residence.
He was born November 3, 1936 in Lima to the late Charles E. ‘Ed’ & Virginia
Helen (Tillman) Winget, Sr. He married Beverly Ann Hemphill in 1956 and she
survives in Cincinnati.
Chuck had been a custodian with Lima City Public Schools working at South
Junior High School. He had been associated with Jehovah’s Witnesses for
over 50 years. He loved doing things with his family and was known as a
‘Jack of all trades’. He enjoyed building things with his hands.
Additional survivors include 2 daughters: Teresa Kay (Wilbert) Landry of
Morgan City, LA and Amy Marie (Michael) Huerta of Cincinnati; 6
grandchildren: Joshua Landry, Brian Landry and Jessica (Art) Young, Joel
Huerta, Casia (Ian Pack) Huerta and Amanda Huerta; 9 great grandchildren, a
great-great granddaughter and a sister Connie (James) Randas of Galion,
Ohio.
He was preceded in death by a brother William (Bill) George Winget and a
sister Alice (Sue) Irene Shaw.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
