Pastor Clarence Lee Walters, Wapakoneta. Lee Walters, 81, went home to be with his Lord at 6:57 a.m., Dec. 3, 2011 at Lima Memorial Health Systems from a very short battle with Leukemia. He was born March 21, 1930 in Lima to Roy Lee and Allene McDaniel Walters, who preceded him in death. He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy ‘Kitten’ Schultheis from Lima South High School on July 3, 1949.
Mr. Walters retired from Superior Coach/Sheller Globe after 30 years. He was also owner of E L Industrial Systems, INC and had been a pastor of Evening Light Tabernacle since 1972. He was dedicated to his Lord, church and loving family.
Survivors include his 6 children Debbie (Earl) Caudill, Greg (Cathy) Walters, Mike (Angie) Walters, Connie (Derrick) Martin, Seth (Haley) Walters and a foster son Tom (Diane) Frank all of this area; grandchildren Tonya (Bryan) Wireman, Joshua (Amber) Walters, Heather (Craig) Weaver, Eric Caudill, Andy ( Kirsten) Walters, Laura Walters, Paul (Teresa) Caudill, Aaron (Cristina) Walters, Jack Martin, Ashley Walters, T. J. (Sara) Caudill, Joy (Scott) Caudill and Brian (Cortney) Caudill and 12 great grandchildren; a brother: Ronald E. (Betty) Walters and brother-in-law John (Betty) Schultheis. Also his special four legged friend Blackie.
He was preceded in death by his sister Darlene Tippie.
Services will begin a 1:30 P.M. Wednesday with Brother Michael Severt officiating at Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the services.
Friends and family may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home .
