Clifford A. ‘Buzz’ Law, Jr., age 79 of Cridersville, died at 12:10 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Lima Memorial Health Care Systems. He was born May 26, 1935 in Lima, Ohio; the son of the late Clifford A. and Mildred M. Phalen Law, Sr., who proceed him in death. On February 6, 1960 he married Charlotte A. Johnson, who survives in Cridersville.
Mr. Law had been working the Cridersville Super Wash and previously worked at the Casa Lu Al Restaurant. He graduated in 1954 from St. Gerard’s High School and formerly attended St. Gerard’s Catholic Church. He was a member of the Wapakoneta Eagles #691. He always enjoyed going to the ‘his office’ at the Village Café.
Survivors include a son – Scott (Veronica) Law of Cridersville; a daughter – Kimberly (Jim) Heffner of South Africa; 5 grandchildren – Justin Wootton, Holli Heffner, Zachary Heffner; Mark Muleski, and Macy Muleski; 2 brothers – Charles Law of Lima; Ted (Linda) Law of Wapakoneta; 2 sisters – Barbara (Ronald) Kleman of Lima and Annette ‘Toni’ (George) Volbert of Lima; a sister-in-law – Nancy Law of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a daughter – Cynthia M. Wootton, who died May 4, 2014 and a brother – Lawrence Law.
Funeral services will begin 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
