Connie Jarvis, age 61 of Lima, died at 12:30 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2018 at her residence with her family. She was born September 10, 1956 in Lima, Ohio to David and Jean Binkley Jarvis. Her mother preceded her in death and her father survives in Lima.
Connie attended New Hope Christian Center and had worked as a pre school teacher with Gardendale Church of God, Learning to Learn Center, the YWCA, and Shawnee Weekday Early Learning Center. Her favorite job was working with her dear friend Lynn Webb at A Child’s Garden Pre-School and Day Care. Connie had a true gift working with children. Both her students and their parents loved her and she continued to stay in touch with many of them. She will be remember for her loving and patient nature. Her friends nicknamed her the “Baby Whisperer”. There was no baby she could not sooth and make feel better. She had a beautiful, gentle soul that will be dearly missed.
Also surviving are 2 sisters – Linda (Frosty) Frost of Dallas, TX; Cheryl (Randy) Mulholland of Lima; 3 nieces – Andrea (Jose) Vasquez of Dallas, TX; Lisa (Joe) Cortes of Garland, TX; Liza (Ryan) Young of Lima.
Funeral services will begin 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
