Dana ‘Pooh’ McPheron, Jr. age 41 of Bellefontaine and formerly of Lima passed away Friday, Nov. 10 at 12:13 a.m. at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born Sept. 21, 1982 to Dana P. McPheron, deceased, and Shelley K. (Mathews) McPheron of Lima. He married Kayla B. Moore May 1, 2010 and she survives in Bellefontaine.
Dana had worked for Graybar Electric Company for 19 years and was currently manager of customer service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being on his boat. He loved God and was a true family guy, his greatest joy was his wife and kids.
Additional survivors include sons: Liam and Abram McPheron both of Bellefontaine, siblings: Danna ‘Sissy’ McPheron of Lima, Danny (Amber) McPheron of Lima; nieces and nephews: Jacob, Sammuel, Benjamin, Miranda, Brianna and Alaina McPheron, Lane Moore and Camdyn and Ace Sifrit all of Lima; mother and father-in-law Kathy and Glenn Moore of Lima; sister-in-law Lindsay (Cory) Sifrit; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a close friend Jessica ‘Josh’ Anglemyer of Bellefontaine.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Chad Moore and a niece Mackenzie Moore.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 14 at Bayliff & son Funeral Home, Cridersville from 3 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 7 with Pastor William Turner officiating. A private burial will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
