Dana ‘Pooh’ McPheron, Jr. age 41 of Bellefontaine and formerly of Lima passed away Friday, Nov. 10 at 12:13 a.m. at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born Sept. 21, 1982 to Dana P. McPheron, deceased, and Shelley K. (Mathews) McPheron of Lima. He married Kayla B. Moore May 1, 2010 and she survives in Bellefontaine.

Dana had worked for Graybar Electric Company for 19 years and was currently manager of customer service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being on his boat. He loved God and was a true family guy, his greatest joy was his wife and kids.

Additional survivors include sons: Liam and Abram McPheron both of Bellefontaine, siblings: Danna ‘Sissy’ McPheron of Lima, Danny (Amber) McPheron of Lima; nieces and nephews: Jacob, Sammuel, Benjamin, Miranda, Brianna and Alaina McPheron, Lane Moore and Camdyn and Ace Sifrit all of Lima; mother and father-in-law Kathy and Glenn Moore of Lima; sister-in-law Lindsay (Cory) Sifrit; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a close friend Jessica ‘Josh’ Anglemyer of Bellefontaine.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Chad Moore and a niece Mackenzie Moore.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 14 at Bayliff & son Funeral Home, Cridersville from 3 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 7 with Pastor William Turner officiating. A private burial will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family.

You will be missed here on earth but Father God, Jesus, and his Dad will celebrate his coming home.

I was crushed to hear of Dana's passing. We just had lunch a few weeks ago too. He was truly one of Graybars finest. Good God fearing man, he will most definitely be missed. My prayers go out Kayla, his children and the family.

Will always remember the hunting/fishing with you and Dan especially when you supervised as we put up your stands :)

It was a great privilege and honor to have worked with Dana over the years at Graybar Electric. We had great conversations about work and many other things. You will be greatly missed my friend, and I know you are in a better place. My heart and prayers go out to your family through these difficult times.

I am so sorry for the loss of Dana...Joe, Justin and I have many wonderful memories of the three boys spending so much time together at our home on Albert St. Such a wonderful guy taken way too soon from family and friends who loves him so very much. His memory will live on for all and he will always be loved and never forgotten. Joe sends his prayers and sympathy, too. We are both sick so will not make it to visitation, but please know all of you are in our hearts, thoughts, & prayers.
