Obituary

Daniel Lee Camper age 80, of Wapakoneta passed away 1:17 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2021 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born May 18, 1941 in Lima to the late Melvin and Goldie Marie (Resor) Camper. He married Teena D. Ford-Hoffman and just celebrated 30 years of marriage and she survives in Wapak.
Dan retired from Ford after 40 years. He was a member of Wapak Community Worship Center. He enjoyed bowling and woodworking. He loved his family including his little dogs Cupid, Holly, Toto and Jasper. He was an avid Ohio State Fan.
Additional survivors include children: Daniel Lee Camper. Jr, Lori and Nicole; stepsons: Shane and Heath Hoffman; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and sisters: Rose Marie Buchanan and Mary Jane Ritchie.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.

Dan Camper .. you wasn't my father by blood ..but you was my dad ! I was 20 when mom married you and I never knew what a father figure was because my real dad abandoned me.. You showed me things a man should know ..because you was a genuine man's man! You showed us love and a sense of security and always I mean always had my back .. I love you Dan (dad) .. may God rest your soul .. till we meet again your son Shane
