Danny J. Gibson age 56, of Lima passed away unexpectedly with his dog Spud by his side. He was born Nov. 5, 1963 in Lima to the late Edgar & Stelleen Rife Gibson. He married Carol J. Eggers April 19, 1981 and she survives in Lima.
Danny had retired from the Steel Foundry in Decatur. He enjoyed going to car shows and riding motorcycles. He used to body build and loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include siblings: Kelcie (Kay) Gibson, James E. Gibson, Marlene Gibson, Sally Gipson, Evelyn (Charles Smith) Gipson, Linda Gipson, Donnie Lewis and Mildred Gipson all of Lima and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Virginia Mae Stoepfel; siblings: Roger, Liggie, Kenneth Ray, Rickie, Ella Jane, Alleen, Sharon, Vergie Gipson and his German Shepherd Max.
Due to the COVID Crisis a family graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help with services.
