Dan Tuttle, age 66 of Lima, passed at 1:03 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2022 at St. Rita’s Mercy Health, Lima. He was born February 2 1956 in Lima, Ohio to the late Charles and Constance Tuttle. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Evonne.
Dan liked the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes, golf, watching true crime shows, and was a master carpenter. He loved to hate the Patriots – Bill Belichich and Tom Brady. He will be remembered for being kind and generous, always willing to help others, and was often called ‘Mr. Fix-it.’ He loved his family dearly and they were the most important thing to him.
Also surviving are his daughters – Joanne (Kenny) Poling of Elida; Michelle Cartagena of Lima; Dionne Tuttle of Lima; a stepson – Frank Mosley, Jr. of AZ; grandchildren – Keri Lynch; Kurt Ingle, Christopher Ingle; Jasmine Cartagena; Laithen Dahill; Olivia Taflinger, and Lyla Taflinger; a sister – Yolanda (Paul) Davis of Kenton and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings – Ginger Tuttle; Brian Tuttle, and Rhonda Dawson, a granddaughter – Lisa Lynch and a niece Mysti Seaunier.
A sharing time will begin at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2022 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2022 at the funeral home.
