David Dwan ‘Bodine’ Bushong, age 75, of Lima passed away April 20, 2017 at his residence. He was born Nov. 27, 1941 in Findlay to the late Lester and Edith Decker Bushong. He married Janet L. Miller Dec. 14, 1968 and she survives in Lima.
David graduated from Findlay High School. He went on to serve in the Marine Corp and did 2 tours in Vietnam. David worked with the Ohio Department of Transportation for several years prior to his retirement. He was a huge Ohio State fan and enjoyed watching westerns and reading Louis L’Amour books. He also liked to do Sudoku puzzles.
Additional survivors include 5 sons: Michael (Joyce) Williams, Kenneth Williams, Tony (Kim) Williams, Steven Williams and Robert (Tellie) Williams, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Micki Conrad, 2 sisters: Reta Babcock of Florida and Debra Crawford of Findlay, 2 nieces and nephews, a sister-in-law Peggy Miller and a brother-in-law Larry Miller.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Max and Joe Bushong, a sister Betty Bushong, a brother-in-law Dennis Miller, a sister-in-law Diane Miller and 2 nephews.
