David L Sarchet, age 90, of Cridersville passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020 at Cridersville Health Care. He was born Aug. 27, 1930 in Kimbolton, Ohio to the late Raymond and Bessie Hazel (Milligan) Sarchet. He married Joyce Johnson on June 5, 1959 and she survives in Cridersville.
David served in the U.S. Air Force during Korea. He had been an electrical technician at Buckeye Pipeline and he was a member of Cridersville Church of the Nazarene. He had been a Hamm radio operator for years, WB8DKU.
Survivors include 5 sons: Jerry (Lynn); Robert (Cynthia M.), Richard (Kim), Joseph (Beth) and Patrick (Cynthia L.), a daughter Susan Brown; 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, siblings Raymond, Daniel and Martha Carruthers.
He was preceded in death by a brother Curtis and a sister JoAnn.
Private family services will be held and burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida. Memorial contributions may be given to the Cridersville Church of the Nazarene.
