Debra K. Budde age 61 of Lima, went to her heavenly home with Jesus at 8:10 p.m., Tuesday Nov. 5th surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 3, 1951 in San Diego, CA to Theodore V. and Betty A. (Hartman) Dahlke, who survive in Lima. She married Robert A. ‘Bob’ Budde June 18, 2005 and he survives in Lima.
Mrs. Budde was a registered nurse for Lima Memorial Health Systems and Liberty Arts Magnet School. She was a member of Only Believe Ministries, Botkins. She was very active in her church as a member of the greeting and altar team. Debra graduated from Lima Senior High School, Lima Technical School , and Bluffton University for the nursing and business program. She enjoyed swimming, snow skiing, and ballet. She adored her grandchildren. Debi was a born again Christian and loved the Lord with all her heart. Psalm 91 was her favorite passage.
Survivors include a son: Josh Joseph of Lima, a daughter Heidi (James) Hartz of Findlay, 3 grandchildren (Tyler, Madelyn, and Malachi), a brother Theodore L. (Carolyn) Dahlke of Lima and a sister Kim (Jim) Lawrence of Harrod, stepchildren Joe (Jessie) Budde of Orlando, FL, Ben (Missy) Budde of St. Marys, Angie (Doyle) Harvey of Anna, Julie (John) Barnett of Wapakoneta, Dave (Noelle) Schwieterman of Anna, Tom (Shana) Schwieterman of Farmville, NC, John (Shelley) Schwieterman of Maria Stein, Rick (Meghan) Schwieterman of Coldwater and Todd (Tara) Joseph of Bellefontaine, and 23 step grandchildren. She was previously married to Emerson C. Joseph (Maria) of Elida, Ohio.
The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m., Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The memorial service will begin at 5 with Rev. Dottie Kaiser officiating.
The family’s preference would be for memorial gifts to be given Liberty Arts Magnet School.
