Dennie K. Cottle age 92, of Lima passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022 at St. Rita’s Mercy Health. He was born Jan. 13, 1930 in Fayetteville, WV to the late Mose Tamplin and Amy Audrey (Price) Cottle. Dennie K. Cottle age 92, of Lima passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022 at St. Rita’s Mercy Health. He was born Jan. 13, 1930 in Fayetteville, WV to the late Mose Tamplin and Amy Audrey (Price) Cottle. He married Ruby Elizabeth Rice Sept. 11, 1948 and she preceded him in death Dec. 23, 2020.
Dennie worked for Ex-Cello for 20 years and then worked to Ford for 20 years and was a member of UAW 1219. He was an avid golfer and turkey hunter. He was a member of Eagles Post 370.
Survivors include a son: David Cottle of Lima, daughters: Sherry Ann Graham of Lima and Terry Elizabeth (George Wayne) Hobbs of New Carlise; 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a brother Carl Eugene (Betty) Cottle.
He was preceded in death by a brother Robert Aaron Cottle and a sister Norma Lee (Howard) Trentman.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville with Charlotte Hefner officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
