Dorothy E. Moody age 87, of Lima went home to be with the Lord 6:48 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2016. She was born June 1, 1929 in Auburn, Alabama to the late Luther Charles and Emma Josie Walker Martin. She married Howl Moody April 29, 1949 and he survives in Lima.

Dorothy was a former member of County Line Church of the Brethren. As a reverend’s wife she enjoyed singing and playing many instruments in church. She loved the Lord and family was her life. Dorothy will be remembered by the many lives she touched with endless wisdom, love, and kindness. Dorothy dedicated many years of service on the Bath Township Election Board.

Additional survivors include children: Shirley (John) Cramer and Doug Moody all of Springfield, TN and Terry (Luann) Moody of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren: Carla (Jim) Klingler, Robin (Jim) Roberts, Brent (Mandy) Eastman, Tyler Moody and Ashley Fuller, 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 8 siblings.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 27 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral service will be Noon Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Crowe officiating, entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
