Douglas Deviere Bice, age 63 of Lima, died at 6:35 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2012 in the Emergency room at Lima Memorial Hospital. He is the son of the late Daniel Kenneth and Imogene Vondetta Myers Bice.
Mr. Bice was a certified mechanic. His hobbies were working on computers and cars. He loved animals especially his puppy dogs.
He is survived by a sister – Darla F. (Gerald) Sellers of Lima; his companion of 34 years – Doris Stephens of Lima; her children – Carl (Sue) Stephens of Lima; Carlton (Rita) Stephens of Lima; Ginger (Larry) Rodgers of Lima; Cherie (Jeff) Butcher of Celina; Pamela Sherman of Ottawa; his companions 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin 1:30 p.m., Monday, August 20, 2012 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville with Major Phil Tamayo officiating. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery. Military rites will be observed by V.F.W. Post 1275 of Lima.
The family will receive friends one hour before the services on Monday at the funeral home.
