Frederick R. Reid, age 72 of Defiance, passed at 1:41 a.m., Monday, October 29, 2018 at CHP Hospice Center in Defiance. He was born April 19, 1946 in Canada, the son of the late Burton Stewart and Marjorie Charlotte Williams Reid. On December 22, 2002 he married Brenda Ann Lumpkins, who survives in Defiance.

Mr. Reid was a consultant and a member of the Voice of Life Ministries Church in Ayersville, Ohio.

Also surviving is a daughter – Lori Atkin of Canada; 2 step daughters – Brandy Hale of Defiance and Patricia (Brent) Hawkins of Defiance; 4 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; and a brother – David Burton (Carolyn Mary) Reid of Whitby, Canada.

A memorial service will begin 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Voice of Life Ministries Church, 28125 Ayersville-Pleasant Bend Road, Ayersville, Ohio. Pastor Terry Hawkins will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the CHP Hospice Center.
