On December 24th, 2021, Gail Elaine Lambert passed. Born on March 4th, 1951, she was 70 years old and a resident of Lima, Ohio.
Gail was a prolific reader and cat-lover, always content delving into a new book with a fluffy friend purring nearby. Her decades of secretarial and administrative work with the Lima City Schools touched so many lives in so many positive ways, which are now a testament to her enduring efforts and dedication to helping and supporting others. Loving mother of two, adoring grandmother of three and with a heart big enough for all the children who attended her schools, she will be fondly remembered by her family and her many friends.
She is survived by her son Buck Lambert III, and her son Travis Lambert, her grandchildren Autumn, Elliot, and Emmett, her sister Teresa Barnhart and brother in-law David Barnhart, nieces Tara Odom and Daughter Sophia and Julia Barnhart and Son Brayden as well as her beloved cats Beau and Charlie.
She is preceded by her mother Ruth Short and father Leonard Short and her aunt JoAnne Stepleton.
There will be no formal services as per Gail’s wishes, but her memory will be honored and celebrated by those who loved her. We will all miss her wonderful smile, her joyful laugh, and her caring heart.
