Obituary

Georgia L. Lee, age 93, of Wapakoneta passed away Saturday evening. She was born March 22, 1924 in Auglaize County to the late Clay and Carrie Morris Knoch. She married Willie Eugene ‘Gene’ Lee Aug. 15, 1942 and he preceded her in death Oct. 12, 1987.
Georgia was a member of Wapakoneta First United Methodist Church and the Wapak Senior Citizens. She volunteered her talents to make Pillow case dresses for Africa & Haiti and Scarfs for Cancer in Auglaize County.
Survivors include 3 sons: Don Lee of Wapak, Terry (Marcia) Lee of Lima and James (Mary) Lee of Columbus, 9 grandchildren: Chris, Kim, Cory, Tina, Bucky, Ben, Mandy, Stephanie and Amber, 21 great grandchildren and 4 brothers: Ted (Jeanne), Rex (Sharon), Tom (Barb) and Dick Knoch .
She was preceded in death by 7 siblings: Morris, Allan, Clay Jr., Brooks and Bill Knoch, Lucille Bell and Glenna Horman and 2 daughters-in-law Mary Alice Hemmert and Margaret I Hicks.
The family will receive friends 11:00 to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday Oct. 11 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will follow at 1 with Pastor David Gordon officiating and burial will be in Buckland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Auglaize County Cancer Association.
