Gerald F. Sellers age 80, of Cridersville died 6:30 a.m., Monday Feb. 10 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. He was born August 1, 1933 in Lima to Glenn C. and Gladys I. Stout Sellers, who preceded him in death. He married Darla Bice May 31, 2000 and she survives in Lima.
Mr. Sellers had been quality control for Nelson Packaging for the last 11 years. He enjoyed woodworking and collecting lighthouses and vintage model cars. He was a former licensed minister with the Mennonite Church.
Additional survivors include 3 children: Deb (Ron) Siefker of Delphos, Howard (Paula) Sellers of Lima and Mark (Faith) Sellers of Florida, 10 grandchildren: Jamie, Josh (Laura Beth), Ben (Danielle),Ryan, Rachel (Collin Sobas) Siefker, Amber (Peter Pohl), Kurt (Misty), Jaden, Kyle and Nate Sellers, a great grandson Levi Siefker and a sister: Gertrude Wren of Lima.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday Feb. 14 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville with Rev. Charlotte Hefner officiating and burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery near Cridersville. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to services.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bath Community United Methodist Church.
