Obituary

Glenn J. Dickerson, 69, of Cridersville died Sunday Nov. 6 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. He was born Nov. 30, 1941 in Newark, New Jersy to Elvest Glen and Martha Agnew Dickerson. His mother survives in Cridersville and his father preceded him in death Dec. 6, 2010. He married Joyce McGue Lauck Aug. 12, 1977 and she survives in Cridersville.

Mr. Dickerson had been a farmer and worked construction. He was a life member of the quarter horse association and enjoyed watching his grandchildren ride. He also enjoyed gossip at the coffee shop. He had served with the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include 5 sons: Bob Dickerson of Cridersville, Ken (Kim)Dickerson of Cridersville, Glen ‘Skip’ Dickerson of Pannsylvania, Gene (Jamie) Lauck and Johnny (Cathy) Lauck both of Lima, 2 daughters: Kathy Fisher of Bowling Green and Debbie (Kirk) Wilmoth of Lima, Ohio, 2 brothers: Bill (Cindy) Dickerson of Easton, PA, Jim (Carol) Dickerson of Palmer, Alaska, a sister: Patricia (John) Rowe of Hot Springs, SD, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville and the funeral service will follow at 8:00 with Rev. John Rowe officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
