Gregory William Selover age 66, of Wapakoneta passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Lima Memorial. He was born April 26, 1955 in Uniopolis, Ohio to the late William Franklin and Vera Eunice (O’Dell) Selover.
Greg was a very supportive father and was big into spending time with his grandchildren. He was a fan of Wapak Wrestling and Ohio State Football. He coached girls fast pitch softball for 17 years and currently had been a volunteer at Lima Memorial. Being an outdoors man, he enjoyed camping, boating, hiking, fishing, hunting and golfing. The family has many memories of Lake Cumberland and Yellow Springs.
Survivors include children: Holly Baker of Cincinnati, Kelly (Jason) Pummell, Jared (Betsy) Selover and Julie (Dustin) Becker all of Wapakoneta; 10 grandchildren: Lillian and Weston Baker, Emily Market, Riley Pummell, C. J. Walter, Carson Pummell, Bexley Selover, Riley, Trevor & Macie Becker; sister: Karen (Joe) Wineinger of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by a sister Randie Seipel.
The family will receive friends and family Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 11 to 1 with the memorial at 1 with Pastor Gary Bragg officiating and burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapak.
