H. James ‘Jim’ Ingledue, age 79 of Lima, died at 6:07 a.m., Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Lima Manor. He was born September 3, 1935 in Lima, Ohio; the son of the late Harry Thomas and Lucille Lones Ingledue. On May 30, 1958 he married Karen Boroff, who survives.
Mr. Ingledue retired in 1997 after 38 years as an electrician with Superior Coach. After graduating in 1953 from Lima South High School, he joined the National Guard and was a member of the Great Black Swamp Metal Detecting Club. He had a love for the outdoors and treasured time fishing with his son and grandkids.
Survivors also include a son – James (Rebecca) Ingledue of Cincinnati; 4 grandchildren – Autumn, Adam, Logan, and Olivia Ingledue; 4 sisters – Judy (Rick) Newland of Vaughnsville; Twila (Steve) Green of Vaughnsville; Marlene Raines of Lima; Kathy Wireman of Lima; Charles Ingledue of Lima, and Billy Ingledue of Sidney.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers – Tommy Ingledue and Johnny Ingledue; 2 sisters – Shirley Hale and Janet Gillmeister.
Funeral services will begin 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2014 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2015 at the funeral home. Rev. William Stevenson will officiate.
