Harold ‘Kadel’ Jordan age 78, of Russells Point died 3:30 p.m., Sunday March 22. He was born Aug. 22, 1936 in Huntington, WV to the late Ottis Lee and Nellie Mae Jackson Jordan. He married Della Bowsher Dec. 28, 1957 and she survives in Russells Point.
Kadel had been the owner operator of Dixie Roller Rink for many years. He also worked as a machinist for Teledyne Ohio Steel and Superior Forge. He was affiliated with St. Marys of the Woods church. He enjoyed fixing cars, NASCAR, golf, hunting, OSU football and the Bengals. He was a member of the Lakeview Moose.
Additional survivors include 2 sons: Harold Kadel (Crystal Platt) Jordan, Jr. of Russells Point and Mark (Vicki) Jordan of Lima, 9 grandchildren: Les, Jenni (Eric Lawrence), D. Nicole (Joe Bunger)Shumate, Victoria (Antonio Moranchel) Jordan, Christian (Amanda) Shumate, Shawna (Michael) Bridge, Terri A. (Robert Kalthoff) Shumate, Kevin Kirk and Johnalan Kadel Jordan, 4 great grandchildren: Logan, Dakota, Trinity Bunger and Adalyn Kalthoff, brother: Ott L. ‘Sonny’ Jordan of Harrod, best friends John (Joan) Hinterschied of Marysville and many friends.
The family will receive friends 2-6 p.m. Thursday and 4-7 p.m. Friday.
A private family service will follow.
