Harold Max Lutterbein, age 94 of Lima, died peacefully at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, December 25, 2017 at Wyngate Senior Living Center.
He was born December 19, 1923 to the late A.J. and Myrtle Crawford Lutterbein.
On August 17, 1947 he married Doris E. May, who preceded him in death on June 24, 2005.
Max retired after 41 years with Westinghouse Corporation. He was a WW II and Korean U. S. Army Veteran, a life member of the V.F.W. Post 1275 of Lima, and also served with the Ohio National Guard, 37th Division.
Surviving are 2 sons – Joseph Max Lutterbein of Lima; Richard Alan (Jeannie) Lutterbein of Elida; 2 daughters – Robin (Joe) Anderson of Lima; Diana (Wayne) Good of NC; 13 grandchildren;
25 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law – Joseph Anderson; and 3 brothers – Richard W. Lutterbein; William H. Lutterbein; and Alva J. Lutterbein.
Funeral services will begin at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Military rites will be observed by the V.F.W. Post 1275 of Lima.
Family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
