Harry Twining, age 89 of Wapakoneta, passed away at 12:25 p.m., at the Springs of Lima surrounded by his family. He was born December 20, 1932, in Ada, Ohio to the late William and Zenith (Jordan) Twining. On May 12, 1951, he married Alice Marie Twining, who passed away October 16, 2022.
Mr. Twining retired from Accubuilt. He enjoyed working with wood, farming, Nascar, tractor pulls, working on puzzles, the Ohio State Buckeyes. He treasured most spending time with his loving family. He was a gifted man that will be remembered for his many talents.
He is survived by his children – Rickey (Rochelle) Twining of Lima; Karl (Deb) Twining of Lima; Diana Bolen of Wapakoneta; blessed with 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers – Jim (Sharon) Twining; Glen (Nadine) Twining; a sister Twila (Rob) Carr; a brother-in-law – Dale Henderson; and a sister-in-law – Ellen May.
He was preceded in death by 5 sisters – Mary Johns, Nancy Henderson, Elsie Plikerd, Janet Rudisill, Theresa Swallow; 3 brothers – William Twining, Loren Twining, and Tom Twining.
Funeral services will begin 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Wanda Werking will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, near Uniopolis.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
