I remember so many wonderful things! Some of my favorite things are the camping trips to Ipperwash in Ontario and the two trips I took out west with Aunt Helen and Pauline. I loved the traveling and the beach. My first time swimming in the Atlantic was with Aunt Helen, Aunt Betty, and my parents on a trip through the New England states. My first time swimming in the Pacific was on a trip west with Aunt Helen, Pauline, Aunt Carol, and cousin Kathy. We had so much fun, including a "chinese fire drill." My first time ever seeing and eating at McDonald's was with Aunt Helen. They didn't have McD's here in OHIO yet, but they had some out west. Sharon Stoots

Helen was my 4th grade teacher. She was also our neighbor and an aunt to three of my friends growing up! She was an AMAZING teacher and friend. I’m sure all of her students will never forget her! All of the family is in our thoughts and prayers. Sorry I’m not there, I’m in Nashville finishing a contract. I will surly miss Helen. RIP Miss Burgess!!
