Jackson L. Haggard, age 77 of Waynesfield, Ohio; died Sunday morning, June 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 11, 1939 in Goshen Township, Auglaize County, Ohio; to the late Donald L. and Sylvia McKee Haggard. On June 25, 1961 he married Mary Jo Young, who survives in Waynesfield.

Mr. Haggard graduated from Waynesfield Goshen High School. He then began his working career with Fisher Cheese of Wapakoneta, 23 1/2 years with Air Stream, and retiring from Honda of America Manufacturing after 25 years. His hobbies included camping and was a member of the Kenton Coffee Cups for 35 years. He was very sports minded with Nascar, basketball, football, little league, girls softball, and hockey being his favorites.

Survivors also include – 5 sons – Don (Barb) Haggard of Delphos, Ron (Adell) Haggard of Wapakoneta; Bruce (Emily) Haggard of Delphos, Daryl (Kim) Haggard of Wapakoneta; Kevin Haggard of Waynesfield, grandchildren – Don Jr., Curtis, Joseph, Dustin, Tanner, Cory, Deven, Derek, Brandon, Hali, Chelsi; great grandson – Kaden; sister – Evelyn (Robert) Osborne of Lima; 2 brothers – Ralph (Mary) Haggard of Lima; Charles (Sue) Haggard of Waynesfield.

He was preceded in death by a daughter – Diana Lynn Haggard.

Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Jean Horn will officiate. Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, near New Hampshire.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
