Jacqueline J. “Jackie” Carl

Dr. Jacqueline J. “Jackie” Carl age 87 of Lima and formerly of Ft. Wayne died 6: 43 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Wyngate Senior Living. She was born March 27, 1930 in Lima Ohio to the late William E. and Ruth E. Hulver Carl.
Jackie was a member of Brookside Community Church of Ft. Wayne. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society- Gamma Lambda Chapter, Indiana State Executive Secretary for 12 years, member of Ohio Genealogical Society and Allen County Genealogical Society. She taught in Lima for 7 years; spent one year in Africa teaching, counselor at East Noble High School for 20 years; Professor of Psychology at IPFW for 5 years Professor of Psychology & Counseling at University of St Francis for 5 years.
Survivors include 14 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and a very close friend Virginia Lehman of Ft. Wayne.
She was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Virginia F. Sproul, Beryl J. Armentrout, Dorothy A. Springer, Wilma R. Roberts and Joan L. Kaufman.
A family graveside service will be held in July. Memorial contributions may be given to Brookside Community Church 6102 Evard Rd. Ft.
