Obituary

James C. Henderson, 78, of Lima died 2:36 a.m., Tuesday, October 11 at Triumph Hospital. He was born July 9, 1933 in Kenton, Ohio to Clay and Donna Wolf Henderson, both parents are deceased. He married Barbara Brown July 4, 2010 and she survives in Lima.
Mr. Henderson had served in the U. S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 96,he retired from ODOT, loved Ohio State and enjoyed photography.
Survivors include 2 sons: Henry C. ‘Carl (Linda) Henderson of Richmond, KY, James Brown of Lima; 2 daughters: Fayettia Marie (Harry) Sutton and Brenda Brown both of Lima, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a brother Edward (Linda) Henderson of Decatur, IN and in-laws: Fran Henderson of Decatur, IN, Jack (Debbie) Wombles of Lima, Daniel ( Pamela) Wireman of Alger, Minnie Phalen, Robert (Debbie) Brown, Joe, Eugene and Nick Brown all of Lima, several nieces and nephews and trusted dog BJ.
He was preceded in death by a brother Homer Henderson and a grandchild.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday at Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will begin 10:30 Sat. at the funeral home and burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Pandora. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
