I am extremely saddened to hear of Jim's passing! I wa just thinking of Jim the other day at work! How it had been awhile since I had seen him!! He was always happy to see me and the same went for me!! Must have been God's way of telling me that he had called him home!! I'm so very sorry girls, but now he is with your Mom!! May God give you comfort and peace in your hearts during this time!! 💔💔🙏🙏

I am so very sorry for your loss. I am your cousin Diane. Several years ago your dad and I started getting together about once a month to eat lunch at the Old Barn Out Back. Everybody there knew him, even the customers, and they all loved seeing him. He always had a piece of cherry pie for dessert. I loved listening to all of his stories about the Navy and driving semi. I am grateful I was able to spend this time with him and will cherish these memories.

So sorry for your loss. Your father was a cousin to my husband- Doug Carey. Doug is at this time at Covington Care Center in Rehab. He basically has Dementia. I remember going out to dinner with your father on a number of occasions. He would come to Piqua and we would go with my sister in law- Susie Smitley . I have also notified our priest- Father Dan who I know your father really liked so there will be prayers from him. Bless you- Marilyn Carey
