James L. Studer, age 85 of Warrensburg, MO and Elida, OH, passed at 12:15 p.m., Saturday, July 15, 2023, in Elida. He was born October 3, 1937, in Pettis County, Missouri to the late Gene and Elsie ‘Peggy’ Parsley Studer. Married to Valerie J. Cislo on February 22, 1997, who survives in Missouri.
Mr. Studer retired from Sperry Rand where he was a marine radar operator. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army.
Surviving is a son – Jon (Abigail) Studer of Ocean Side, CA; 4 daughters – Irene (Timothy) Alderman of Elida, OH, Christine Studer of Lakewood, OH, Candice (Graviel) Vera of Lakewood, OH, and Cassandra Studer of Elyria, OH; 2 stepsons – Gregory (Lourdes) Wicinski of Tampa, FL and Jamie (Joann) Buckley of Mansfield, OH; 2 stepdaughters – Heather (Mike) Shea of Westerville, OH and Kristina (Adam) Craig of Portland, OR and many grandchildren and great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by a sister – Mary Kay Warnock.
Services will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church, Hughesville, MO on September 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Followed by burial at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, MO.
