James P Lanker Sr.

February 4, 1963 - April 16, 2023

James P. Lanker, Sr. age 60, of Lima passed away 12:50 a.m., Sunday, April 16,2023 at Lima Memorial.  He was born Feb. 4, 1963 in Lima to Herbert Ned and Lynn Marcine (Rousculp) Lanker, Jr., who survive in Lima.

Jim had worked for Ohio Steel and was a former member of Rousculp Church of Christ.  He was an avid hot wheels collector and enjoyed antiquing and collecting model cars.  He also loved Harleys and Cadillacs.

Additional survivors include 5 children:  Lindsey (K.C.) Becker of Wapak, Hillary Lanker of Lima, James Lanker, Jr. of Wapak, Nicholas Lanker of Moore, OK and Alexis (Christopher) Tyler of Wapak; 2 step-daughters Kaylynn (Marc) Voiers of Delphos and Sarah (Luther) Bradley of Bradford; 15 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; a brother Tim (Cathy) Lanker of La Mesa, CA and a sister Bethany Lanker of Lima.

Private family services will be held at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be given to Rousculp Church of Christ.
